Numbers Matter
Imagine you are looking for a job, and you submit several applications for truck driving jobs. Later you go through some interviews and two companies call you back and offer you a job.
Both truck driving companies offer essentially the same schedule and benefits, but one company offers you $15.00 an hour and the other company offers you $22.00 an hour. Which job do you choose? All things being equal, most people would choose the $22.00 an hour job.
An extra $280.00 a week for doing the same work, really seems like a no brainer decision to make.
Home Based MLM Business Owners Don’t Always Think About The Numbers
There are hundreds of Network Marketing companies and hundreds of compensation plans. Most MLM companies only pay out 40 % to 50% and a few payout over 60%.
The reason the numbers matter so much, is the same reason in the truck driving job example above. Knowing how much you could potentially make for a certain amount of production s crucial.
Lets say you have 100 people in your business that you qualify for commissions from and you earn an average of 10 percent from each of them. So in this example you would earn $1,000.00. What if you earned 20 percent, you would double your income without anymore effort.
I know there can be lots of variables with MLM companies and with their marketing plans, but the numbers still matter, and how hard is it to qualify for the top compensation payouts.

I thought his answer was very eye opening to say the least. I work full-time and have 5 children, and I have been learning to market online now for about 3 years.
When I first came online I devoted every waking minute to learning how to market and applying what I learned and I was actually having success and making money, but somewhere about the six month mark, I started thinking I need to mellow out a little and spend less time on the computer and be more balanced because that is what I have been taught.
Needless to say I stopped making any real money and finally gave up for six months until 4 weeks ago when I decided I needed to get back to doing what I was doing when I first came online.
Any serious online marketer will tell you to generate leads and build a list of subscribers. When I first came online that was all I focused on and built a list of about 400 in about 6 months or so and I was earning a profit.
What was I thinking? For some strange reason I changed my focus to just started trying to sell stuff online without building a list. I stopped my auto responder service with my 400 subscribers, and spent 2 years trying all kinds of stuff to sell products online. I did make some sales now and then but it was so inconsistent I finally had enough and stopped marketing for 6 months.
I kept thinking back to when I first started learning online marketing, and the fact that I earned more money my first 6 months than I did the next two years and what was the difference? Well when I first came online I was just trying to generate leads and build a list of subscribers who were interested in earning income online.
I’m back to the basics and in almost 4 weeks I have built a list of roughly 190 subscribers and have generated two sales. Now I did do some paid advertising and I didn’t earn a profit with my online business my first month, but I was very close to breaking even.
I’m still pretty happy with my results so far, and everyday I learn new ways to market online, and that gives me the ability to help other people learn how to generate leads and build their list and make money.
Feels good to be back on track and making progress

How I Met My Wife
I was listening to another story today about how a guy met his wife.
He was sitting in a coffee shop when he said the most beautiful women he ever saw walked in with another man.
He said that he just had to tell her how beautiful she was, but was struggling to get the courage to go talk to her. So he started to head towards her, but at the last second he turned towards the door to leave, but just as he was opening the door he stopped and said screw it, and turned and headed towards her and walked up to her and said, “you are the most beautiful women I have ever seen” and I don’t know if this is your boyfriend or not, but I just needed to tell you that. The girl said the guy she was with was just a friend and she gave him her phone number.
Well, he moved out of town the next day and didn’t travel back to where he met her for nearly two years. He kept her number and when he came back in to the town where they met, he gave her a call and set up a date and the rest is history. Trust me on this, He married up so to speak.
I Almost Didn’t Go To The Dance? How I Met My Wife
After listening to the story above, I started thinking about the day I met My beautiful wife and how it almost didn’t happen. It was over 25 years ago. My how time flies:(
Well I was 24 years old (had a mullet) and I had a good friend who I went to dances with, and just about a month earlier me and him went to a dance, and he met a girl he started dating. I didn’t think he was dating her seriously, so I called him to go dancing to a place called “The Bay” in SLC Ut.
Needless to say, he said he wasn’t interested in going dancing and that he felt he met his future wife to be at the last dance we went to. He was right by the way.
I don’t know about you, but as for me I don’t like going to certain places by myself, like dancing and movies. Well I was kind of bummed out and wasn’t for sure what to do, but I decided to not be a wussy and drove to the dance place by myself. Lucky for my wife lol.
How I Met My Wife–Golden Haired, Long Legged Girl Dancing
I was not dancing at the time and I looked out on the dance floor, and I saw this golden haired, long legged girl dancing. She had on regular style 501 Levi’s and a white shirt with with a few navy blue stripes on it.
I knew I just had to ask her to dance, so I waited for her to get off the dance floor and went and asked her to dance. We pretty much danced together the rest of the night and she did something that I would yell at my own girls for. She let me give her a ride home that night.
Really, I would freak if my girls did that.
I met her in January of 1987 and we were married in August that same year. See what happens when you go dancing. ha ha. No more mullet either…
I don’t think anyone really knows what lies ahead in their life and if we are not willing to step out of our comfort zone sometimes, we really won’t have any way of knowing what might have been.
I have heard people say there are two kinds of pain in life. Discipline and regret. It is not always easy to be disciplined enough in our lives, but think out 10, 20, or 30 years and see what your life might be like if you don’t make a choice and at least give something your true energy or your true spirit.
See if you make a choice to go for something, and you give it your all and you fail, when you get older you can look back and not feel the hardest pain of all, REGRET. True despair for not doing something earlier in your life.
A Different Kind Of Dance
I’m 50 years old now and I have been married over 25 years. I have started and lost several businesses and I have made some decent money buying and selling houses.
I realize that I will need more money than I have saved right now, if I want any kind of retirement. I have been online trying to market stuff and make extra money for a few years. I have made some money here and there online, but not much and I wasn’t having fun or enjoying it. Spending way too much time on the computer.
Recently I took six months off from marketing to clear my head and see if I could find something I could get excited and passionate about. Well I found it, It is called the EmpowerNetwork, and if you are not having fun in your life or you really need a fun business where people want to see you grow and succeed, then at least give it an honest look.
Here are my results so far. I signed up just about 3 weeks ago and I have signed up two people just marketing online. Now my business is not into profit yet, but I’m excited about what is starting to happen in my business.
I have generated over 60 leads so far and that is one of the core business principals is to build a list of subscribers and blog daily. I have missed a few days of blogging so far, but EmpowerNetwork won’t fire me or yell at me, because it is my own business.
I’m looking for a few people that are ready to to change their lives for the better, not only financially but mentally. People must be self motivated and willing to grow and rely on their own inner strength.
This business is easy to do, but it is also easy not to do, and people must be disciplined enough to do a few daily tasks each day, consistently and with compassion. No Wussy’s
